Just out of interested has anyone fitted the 1.8 turbo k series in a Libra or is there not the clearance for the turbo to fit. Matty

Re: Turbo k series
I haven't seen anyone do it with the Rover 75 set up but I've considered it and there's plenty of space to mount the turbo behind the engine up under the inlet manifold. The key is not to be blinkered by the front wheel drive installations.

Re: Turbo k series
They are 150bhp with lots of torque and can be remapped to over 200bhp as well as been cheap and should be a fairly easy fit as same block etc. Matty

Re: Turbo k series
Been thinking about that myself as a future project. I don’t think the rover manifold would be the best way but it would certainly be the cheapest route. Plenty of space at the back of the engine to mount the turbo.......
