| Post subject: | Pedal Box - Throttle off switch |
Took the pedal box out of the Libra yesterday (hell of a job) so I could get the servo off and re-paint it. I noticed that the standard metro 'throttle off' switch is still in place and wired up - am I right in thinking that this isn't required if I'm running a MEMS3 1.8 vvc?? It says in the manual that the throttle off switch is for the early 1400 GTI engine so I presume that the throttle position sensor supersedes it on the later engines? Just wondering if I can get rid of it and its wiring? |
