Post ABS fit.
As there's been some interest I'm starting this thread to detail my installation of ABS. This will be specific to a car with Z-Cars rear suspension. It might be possible to adapt for the other rear suspension variants but I can't guarantee it.

Parts required:
1. ABS Modulator - Part Number SRB101590
2. ABS Modulator Bracket - Part Number SRU102100
3. ABS Modulator Connector - Buy a second hand modulator with a connector attached
4. MGF/MG TF Front hubs with ABS connectors - look on eBay for a pair
5. MGF/MG TF ABS CV Joints - £14.95 on eBay
6. ABS Sensors for the rear wheels - Part Number SSB100790
7. 60A Fuse holder
8. Various cable/heat shrink/connectors
9. Hydraulic lines.

Post Re: ABS fit.
As it happens, as I'm breaking a TF I have all of those parts available if anyone wants to make me an offer!

Personally, I find the brakes on my Spyder pretty progressive and as you have to press quite hard you'd have to be pretty brutal to lock it up unless you were on a slippery surface (in which case I'd probably be driving the tin top!)

ABS is definitely a great safety feature for daily use though - I'm fairly convinced I've avoided two accidents by having ABS on the car that would have definitely been crashes without it. I'll look forward to your build notes and lots of pics :D

It works, other than the warning light being the wrong way round (on is ABS good, off is ABS bad). Once I've fixed that (which needs a relay or a transistor and a couple of resistors) then I'll start posting some photos.
