That looks as good a place as any, thanks lads.
Next question, I have AVO shocks apparently, now that I've cleaned them. Driver's side had adjuster at the bottom, passenger was at the top. I've put the driver's one back and it's OK, but when I tried to put the passenger one on with the adjuster at the bottom, it won't fit, the top spring collar fouls the top mount. Should it fit? Or should they both be upside-down?

With Avo's the adjuster's should be at the top.

On my front AVOs piston is at bottom adjuster at top. Most odd if you've got your shocks different ways up. Have you compared em side by side to see if they're a matching set or are differences? Pics of what you have would help (post em on the FB GTM page and link to em).

They're definitely a pair. I just wasn't sure which way up was "correct".
I would imagine the reason for them being fitted differently is due to this clash - and not bothering to swap the other one to match. When I've looked closely the driver's side is also catching the mount but only slightly - I'll have to swap that one as well.

My Spyder has Gaz shocks and the spring seat fouls the top bracket. They are mounted "normal" with adjuster at the bottom and rod at the top. Flipping them would have fixed the problem but the Gaz website seemed to show they need to be right way up. I spent some time bending and grinding the top bracket to clear.

Morning All, I know this is a bit of a long shot but has anyone got a dash panel template secreted away in their garage that they used to mock up their clocks? This is my next job on the list after MOT and it'd save me quite a bit of time if I had something already existing to butcher.

Either that or a cardboard tracing of an existing one?

Cheers,

Hello All,

Has anyone got access to the wiring diagram for a metro? Specifically for the dash wiring?

Thanks,

I’ve got the metro wiring diagrams in the manual, I could scan them at work tomorrow for you if that helps? I’ve just had all the under dashboard wiring apart and removed all the unused wiring so got to know it quite well.

I’ve got the Rave cd, it has the metro wiring diagrams.
Happy to sort you a copy.
Cheers

I might struggle to read a cd at the moment, so a scan of the specifics would be great.
I'll send contact in pm.
Thanks lads.
