| Post subject: | ENGINE MOUNTS |
Hi everyone, I have a Honda Integra type R B18c V-TEC engine in my Libra and over the past year we have changed and re-furbished just about everything to try and cure a very annoying rattle. We are now going to change the engine mounts and also the timing belt and water pump whilst that side of the engine is accessible. The problem that we are having is identifying the cambelt side engine mount. Looking on Honda tuning and spares websites does not help as the one on the car appears to be some sort of hybrid. Does anyone have any experience of this engine in the Libra or any suggestions? Thanks very much. Jeremy |

I have a honda d16 engine mine has metro engine mtg same as used on k series libra gtm made an adaptor to make it fit but it did work on mine because it would only work on engines up to 2000 year mine is 2005 so had make it fit myself have a look at sidewinders post on this mtg his had dropped down with age your mtg may have been secondhand when fitted so may have done more miles than your car hasso you may have same problem |
