Re: Roof
That looks brilliant Peter!
Like how you've done your windscreen as well.

Re: Roof
Windscreen has no edge seal at present. After the car is sprayed this can be filled with polyurethane or left open. No wind noise so option

Re: Roof
Can the join between the two halves slide? I am thinking about torsional rigidity of the car and whether the roof can make it stiffer. The four corner fixtures would need to be solid. Would be interesting to jack up one corner of the car and look for movement.

Re: Roof
I would be extremely worried if the original roof was part of the stiffness. Try it - easy to bend a thin piece of GRP with no core

Re: Roof
Sure. I was just musing as to whether the roof insert could be (re)designed to usefully increase the stiffness.
Probably moot since the Libra and Spyder have excellent torsional stiffness in the first place.

Re: Roof
A bonded in panel with thick foam core would do that. Big boxes around the opening however are very stiff Only for Racing?
For me wind in hair is more important
