Post Window rubbers
Good evening all
What do the window rubbers come from please.
The originals seemed to be glued into place.
I must admit very well too - still stuck after 20 years
so what glue would that be

2nd is very simple - just me being wimp
The I think Metro wing mirrors - screwdriver and lever off the back to change the glass?

Thanks

Pete

You can by the weatherstrip from Woolies by the metre. Sikaflex or similar adhesive should be fine.

Do you mean the windscreen Pete? If so it's bonded in and mine has a lower case 'h' profile trim pushed on to it.

The door seals are Rover Metro.

Mirrors you just prise off at the obvious seam.

Thankyou all for help and replies.
In no particular order
Side window rubbers are available from Car Builder and another rubber trim supplier.

Thank very much about the adhesive - Once stuck in and the door put back together I really do not want to have rubber not stuck well.

Mirrors - Very difficult to pop off the back without damaging the plastic - underside and carefully !!

Pete

For unclipping the mirror surround I used an old credit card - slip in a corner of the card and then slide it around the mirror. Much less likely to mark the plastic mirror frame than a screwdriver or suchlike and it worked a treat for me.
