 Re: backbox needed :(
I dont know what was fitted to your car. The early cars were supplied with side entry Imp boxes. OK for 850 & 998 but too restrictive for 1275 (or more). Later cars were supplied with double pass stainless boxes but I doubt if thats what was on your car. A good box is the RC40 from Minispares. I supply a complete stainless system including LCB, 'U' bend ,polished box, tailpipe and fitting kit. Contact me if you require more info. I've tried to attach pic but no can do.

K3 Stuart. I have a spare from my old car. The pipe enters half way down the box. I'm going to use a repackable one on the Coupe, to save on money after I keep burning the middle of it out!!!

 Re: backbox needed :(
yeah the pipe coming into the back box appears to be in the middle and thats where its blowing sounds like its a common problem with regards to the rc40 box i had a look and these appear to be straight through items not in the same configuration to the current box i,ll try and post some pictures later of different sections of the entire car because i could really do with understanding exactly what it is that the car has been built from, Rossabitz I will email you later could do with a price for the box.

 Re: backbox needed :(
Ive decided to do away with the current setup im in the process of welding up a stainless downpipe which will exit under the rear tub dead centre and at the back of this will be my old race can off my gsxr i,ll just glass up the old hole and rejoice in the saving of the penies plus it should look a bit neater and be lighter what i am on the hunt for now is a tubular manifold anyone got one?

Nice to see somebody trying something different I like the look of the tidied up front end, that grille looks very business like Keep going.
