Lotus elise seats fit well, also believe MX5 will too. Many aftermarket seats too, but not too wide. Westfield and lotus/caterham 7 should be good too.

thanks for that. im going to look at a pair of mx5 seats soon. just had another hour chopping and i have lowered the driver seat an inch which is ok for me to drive and feels comfy. the passenger seat would have to be solid mounted if i keep these ones so i can have taller passebgers but thats not too much of a problem. hoping to paint the car soon, finished most repairs now. cant wait to go on track days, never been but always wanted to.

Post Re: seats
I used half leather seats from a Corsa/Astra SRi and they're a nice fit - only £50 the pair, too :D The runners are still on them but I removed the box sections from across the floor to get them as low as possible. I'm 5' 10" and there's loads of headroom. The drivers seat is height adjustable as well and actually sits lower than the fixed height passenger seat. They do have tilt forward backs and I had to swop them side to side because the seat belts caught on the levers so the passenger now has the lowest seat
