Post Roll over bar fitting?
Hi chaps,

I'm a bit confused by the roll over bar fitting on my Rossa 2. I've attached a photo (I hope) of the rear bulkhead showing the large spacer / mounting for the roll over bar and you can see above it the end of the bar that connects the rear subframe top mounts to the bulkhead.

My question is - should the connecting bar in some way mount to the roll over bar mount to provide a firm anchor point for the seatbelt mountings?

I can't see the point of the connecting bar if its not bolted to the roll over bar and thus the seatbelt mountings. Does anyone else have a picture of this mount they can compare with mine? I'm concerned that this isn't fitted correctly at the moment.

Cheers

Jamie

I have just fitted a roll bar to mine and the connecting bar on mine was there for the seat belt to mount to but with the roll bar fitted it is no longer needed so I removed them because the seat belts fit to the bar itself. the connecting bar just bolts to the inner of the rear moulding and was just an anchor point. You can just leave them in Place because someone has already removed the metal plate from the nut that gets in the way of the bar mounts so you don't really need to do anything.

Only just got chance to take a picture, it is pretty much the same as your setup.

Thanks for that, looks to be the same position as mine. At least I now know mine is fitted properly.

Cheers
