I am looking out for a pair of seats but not sure what to go for so I thought I would see what other owners have used and what kind of job it was to fit them.

Mine are the half leather ones from an Astra/Corsa Gsi. They are a good fit and very comfy but they're fairly heavy and the back rest tilt lever catches the seat belts. I solved the belt problem by switching the seats from side to side but the downside of that is that the passenger gets the height adjustable one which is OK because the fixed height one is fine for me.

did the runners fit the mounting holes or have you drilled through the floor and plated it to spread the load. I have just seen a pair micra interior for £25 not far from me but might go and look at them first.

I removed the bars that go across the floor to get the seats lower for the IVA test and drilled mounting holes to suit, putting (very ) large washers underneath to spread the load. If I remember correctly I also cut off some short metal spacers from underneath the runners.
