Rossas - what sort of latch you got on your soft top? The car I just bought has a hood that has never been fitted and it has these little things which are the type used on transit cases and it doesn't fill me with confidence as they aren't very strong in side loads. Reading the forum it appears some cars had Spitfire latches. Is this correct and , if so, which type. The other two pics are screen grabs from Rimmers who stock both the 1-3 and 4/1500 type. The Mk3 type are overcentre cam type but much more substantial than the ones I have
Anybody fitted anything else?
Of course my wife thinks I'm insane thinking about a soft top as it is barely above freezing here in Aberdeen today!
