I've finally pulled my finger out and replaced the rear brakes for the 4pot hi-spec upgrades with 310mm cross-drilled and grooved vented discs.
I have a little bit of messing around to do with the handbrake cables and traction control sensors to refit into new positions as the new brake calipers have fouled my existing chosen locations. Hopefully complete in the next few nights but was fairly easy to fit.

Did you fit a brake proportioning valve out of interest?

Cheers
I haven't got that far yet, but was going to see whether I need the valve or not. The electric brake still wasn't really ready plus having it with yellow calipers would seem to be an issue when talking to them at the time

I was just thinking the same thing - don't want to be locking up the rear first!
Does look great, especially with the z-cars and that intercooler on show, shame it'll be all covered up with the clam down!

No, Just bolted them straight on.
Being logical tier was nothing really wrong with the old set up so I can't see there being to much of an issue with this setup.
I'll soon find out though

Colin so you are still using metro servo and master cylinder ? Thought they may not shift enough fluid etc I have AP 4 pot on front and the braking is Toffee no feel and you need the leg muscles of an Olympic athlete to stop quickly need to check servo next

In fairness my 6pot brakes at the front are brilliant but you have me concerned now so I will give it a real good safe brake test on a long bend I know of locally that has plenty of run off in case I do 720 degree spin or something.

Either way I'll find out

Well I've spent all afternoon sulking/moaning

I've got to drop the fuel tank to get the old handbrake cables out and whilst there put the new cables in. Basically there is a fixing clamp on each cable right behind the fuel tank that I can only see via my camera taking a photo down the tunnel let alone get a screw driver to take the clamp off.

Atleast I can't say it was done right in the first place by Paul

I have had these fitted on my car a long time but with black calipers and smaller 260mm discs cannot comment on foot brake because rest of car still not finished but handbrake is good connecting cable to lever was hardest part didn't like the u clamps supplied with cables so once i had made clamp for outer cables i measured length of inner needed then had some eyelets crimped on at cable tec these can be connect to lever with two clevis pins

I've spent the entire night on the hand brake cables with those silly u-clamps and finally got it spot on doubling up the clamps so it holds without slipping

All finished and back on the floor now but have another problem with the driveshaft now being to long and has no spare movement between the hub and the gearbox bearing. I have to buy another shaft about 25mm shorter now, never ends it looks
