Quick question i have a warped rear disc on my libra but im not sure on what discs they are ive only had the libra 12 months there a solid disc and looking through the receipts from the builder of my car i believe he brought rover 400 calipers for the rear any help would be greatly apreciated.

Mine are MGF discs with Rover 400 calipers (with an adapter plate to fit them).
I’d measure the diameter of yours, then go on somewhere like eurocarparts and check which ones match.

Pretty sure the Rover 200/400/25/45 used the same rear calipers but had 100 PCD so the discs wouldn't be interchangeable. MGF/TF use the same rear calipers but use the 3.75" PCD so would be right for the 400 calipers and also right for the hubs on the Libra.

I have a pair of TF rear discs in my shed. I was keeping them as spares but if you wanted to borrow them to see if they fit you are very welcome - Bristol area.

They'll be MGF/TF 240mm rear (solid) discs. Originally you used Rover Metro/100 240mm solid front discs for the Libra rear that were 12mm thick and had to be skimmed down to 10mm with the GTM factory setup (200/400 rear calipers). However MGF rear discs are 10mm thick already so are a straight fit with no mods.

If you have a warped disc consider the caliper needs servicing or replacing as it's prob sticking on.

Thankyou everybody for your replys thats great info i had 2 allen key bolts come slightly loose on said caliper many many miles from home and coudnt find the issue on the side of the road but becouse the caliper was moving slightly it made a terrible clunking noise resonating through the whole car which i believe heated and warped the disc i will be changing the caliper and pads as well as a precaution.
