Has anyone on here machined the hubs to alter PCD, if so what issues did you have ??? |

What PCD are you going to. Guessing but wonder if the mgf hub will fit? I'd have thought a blank hub would be the best starting point - wonder if one of the mini suppliers could provide a blank? A decent machine shop could machine the new holes and fit studs. Regards, Allen |

I had a Ford Escort rear axle converted from 4 1/4" to Triumph 3 3/4" PCD. The original stud holes were welded up, machined flat, and new holes were drilled through new metal, not through the welds. The brake drums were just redrilled leaving both sets of holes. The PCD and stud spacing were marked out by putting the hubs and brake drums in a lathe and the holes were drilled using a pillar drill and reamed to their final size. |
