Post subject:  Interior Trim Repairs

Looking around my Mk.1 Rossa today, there are several bits of the interior trim, such as the rigid door panels, that have minor damage particularly around fixing holes.

What is the recommended way of repairing these? Is there a "product" for such repairs or can you use grp tinted black in colour?

Suggestions most welcome.

Post pics of the damage - as there can be lots of variations, i'm sure someone will be able to help.

Ignoring the cracks/damage in the white grp the photos show the black door trim panel where it attaches to the door itself. The two photos show fixing holes that appear to be oversize or where a section to the edge has broken away completely. These are not major problems but make the car look tatty and thus need remeedial work.

Is the technique to fill them in and build up with grp and then drill out to the original size? or are there specialist products to repair such damage.

Why are there 2 holes in the door here? Only one appears to line up with a hole in the door panel?

In the last photo, the big holes in the white GRP are where the famous jack-nuts normally are.
There is another small triangular trim panel that from memory screws to the top hole of the two shown in the last photo. I think there is also another fixing for this triangular pice further up the door and possibly off the edge of the picture
