Door window runner fitment
Has anyone got tips on the best way to fit the window runner to the door, mine at present seems a bit bodged and I'm sure there must be a bitter fitment, any suggestions welcomed.

Re: Door window runner fitment
Sorry not in the workshop, its the steel window runner that sits ontop of the fibreglass section of the door. The same one that the window locks into.

Tigerseal and a few small countersunk rivets.

Thats what I thought but I just wanted to make sure, can you still get the runner rubber/fabric insert strip (inside the metal runner) so not sure of correct name, silly question but "Tigerseal" is just a good quality silicone/adhesive?

http://www.u-pol.com/countries/en/downloads/tds/tigerseal.pdfIt's a polyurethane adhesive sealant, you can almost hold a car together with it. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-310-double-track.aspxWoolies stock the trim, but try Ebay as that's where I got mine

Re: Door window runner fitment
With mine I used a coupe of M5 Countersunk stainless nuts and bolts and then a small bead of sealer i.e silicone. I wanted the option of removing the runner easily. To remove the windows all I do currently is slide tehm together, undo the bolts and they will push inwards to the car and get them out, leavignthe outer frames untouched
