Post Polycarbonate windows
Is anyone running Polycarbonate windows on their cars ?

I've been offered a set for the coupè at £50 ish. These are the MK1 mini style sliding ones.
But there is the offer of fixed with a "port hole" type slider.

Just wondered what they are like to live with.

If you have the sliding type and fit the draught excluder strip between them they will be scratched to hell in no time.
It's so tough, if someone wanted to smash them, your door would probly break first.
You could easily make your own for half that price.
I find portholes annoying - but it's a personal preference thing.

What is your thinking? Lightness? The size of the windows likely means a saving of 2-300g?
