I've got a full set of brand new wheel trims for a Cinquecento going spare, or is yours a posh 'Sporting' with alloy wheels?

Re: just thought i would let you all know!
Congratulations My advice would be to finish the mini first then do the GTM Everyone I know including myself has had a little prang not long after passing. Get some time behind the wheel, before you start thrashing the GTM You don't want to bend it (body panels are hard to come by) Welcome to the world of road tax and speed cameras

Now on probabtion for two years, get yourself a tom tom or similar so you know where the speed camera's are. Well done and nice to know that some of the younger generation has some taste when it comes to cars. My boy has taste, but no talent and no money so hasn't started driving yet.

Congratulations!
as my old physics A-level teacher told me as he was signing my driving licence photos and forms,
"Just remember its a licence to kill as well"
be careful, there are lots of idiots around on our roads, so look after yourself.
Mini and fwd first.

Congratulations Remember passing your test does not mean you're a great driver (thats me) As said do your mini first. I have been building, driving, racing, crashing and re-building minis for years and i still love them!! As the saying goes You'll have more fun driving a slow car fast than a fast car slow!! Remember everyone and everything on the road is trying to kill you so drive safely To many new drivers are killed in there first year behind the wheel God i sound like me dad

Re: just thought i would let you all know!
I was always told that you only start learning to drive AFTER you have passed your test. And I think there is a lot of truth in that. Front wheel drive is definitely better to start off with. Although the thing to learn about the Coupe, is that it is so small that you will need to have your lights on loads and nobody will see you. The mini is a bit taller and tends to be a bit more visible!

Re: just thought i would let you all know!
yeah i was thinking of doing the mini first, but even if i crash that i would be gutted, have owned it for nearly 5 years, its a great part of my life, havent had the gtm long but would be very sad if that was ever damaged too! john- mine is the poverty model cinquecento, it had wheel trims, but i fitted some sporting alloy wheels, along with cobra bucket seats and sparco harness's and a quill motor bike silencer!:D yeah folks, i i dont intend on being silly on the road, gonna save being silly for track days and the likes, my license means to much to me, and being in the motor trade i would be pretty useless if i ever lost my license! anyway going back out to do some more dribing
