The first "new" mini was quite nice, but the latest ones are not, in my opinion, and have nothing to do with the word "Mini" anymore. And yes, de GTM's are small, you will notice that every time you overtake a lorry in a LHD-land with a RHD GTM.... Their wheels look enormous when you are near them... Harold |

Steve Shield wrote: Vehicle size is driven by legislation -- primarily crash management -- feature content and competitive pressure. The only car launched recently I can think of that is smaller and lighter than its predecessor is the new MX5. The new "Mini" is as big as a Maxi if you can remember them -- and just as ugly imho. Steve Sadly I do remember Maxi's I was involve in the 5 cylinder on carbs abortion that BL tried to develop, why do I feel so old John |

A little video of my GTM Rossa Mk2 with the hardtop removed. I took advantage of a rare sunny day. I wanted to see if I can seal the hardtop better and try and eliminate a few of the rattles and squeaks. https://youtu.be/hsfhv1Gz-nk

Went along to the Bo'ness Revival Hillclimb New Years get-together on 2nd January 2022 with my Rossa Mk2. For once the weather was kind. Here is a video of the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway's passenger steam train - steaming past the start straight. Video ends with a brief view of my GTM and fellow GTMOC member Angus Buchan. https://youtu.be/AdZTxR8q9Pw |
