hello i just decided to do a HPI check on my Rossa 2 as i just bought the missus a new car and had a check left over. It all came up clear but says it was imported. has any one else done a check and would i have to tell the insurance company if they ask or does it mean it was exported and then imported back. |

Its a guess, is it on a q plate this might be why the system says import possibly? Neil |

Not tried it but if its on a Q plate that might be how the DVLA records are set up -- the prime use for Q plates other than kit cars was to register vehicles bought by service men when they were on foreign service and subsequently imported back to the UK. In days gone by I think this was a good deal for them as they could buy RHD cars when on service in (say) Germany and not pay the car tax/VAT or whatever. |
