Calling all Cox GTM owners. Complete Kit Car magazine are looking to do a mini based kit car feature (in June) as it’s the donor Mini’s 60th anniversary year. Normally I would be more than happy, but my car is of the road at the minute, unsure when I am going to get her back out yet. Neil |

My Cox has got the engine out at the moment. The crankshaft thrust washers are totally shot, and it’s been breathing very heavily. The biggest problem I have is the price of rebuilding a good performance A series engine. I’m hoping that Minispares get their new ‘S’ replica cast engine blocks through r+d soon, but these things take time So currently whilst I don’t have enough ££,£££’s, I’m concerntrating on all the other little things that need to be done. |
