Post subject:  A new stable mate for my Spyder!

Whilst the improvements I've made my to my Spyder are making it better and better each track day I've decided it is probably better suited to being a road car and for attending shows and meets so I've been on the look out for a cheap track day toy. I've just bought this! It is an R1 engined Locost. It is fully iva'd and road registered but has been in storage since 2015. Other than the bike engine it is largely Ron Champion book Locost but with IRS. Nicely put together and has some good features including bias box/floor mounted pedals. 480kgs wet and that includes the thick layer of dust and a pair of genuine Caterham doors. It is currently at Track Developments as there are some geometry issues to resolve (the builder clearly wasn't an expert on suspension geometry and some parts need to be altered to get it sorted but should make a great track day car and very low cost.
