Glad you've got a set up that works now!

I have recently had the Libra set up by Dave Gallop - website is Track Developments
The very nice computer print out from 4 wheel laser everything kit - exactly like yours was not accurate
Front was .5 degrees out
Rear camber was .5 pos one side and .5 neg the other
Go to Dave

Now I can lean on the corners - whell is alive but car tracks straight

May I ask what track developments set the cars camber and tracking at.

By memory

Front

.5deegree toe in front - whether toe in or out seemed to be optional at the front
If mainly for track use toe out can give better turn in - for road toe in is more stable
Not paralleel important as it loads up the slop in the system which if parallel and in straight line can wander

I have 05 neg - and .5 positive to front camber
Dave talked through fitting a rose joint to the top of the wishbones to make easily adjustable
Will be looking at that

Rear

.5 toe in
1.5 neg camber

Wheel weights were way out = now corrected for one driver only
Rake was front up by 14mm -0 now 10mm rake down to front

Spring rates

Dave does not think 'heavy' springing is right
If too stiff is both very uncomfortable but also stops the wheel tracking undulations on the road
Dampers and roll bars should be used for this
He considered the spring rate on the rear to be too fast / stiff
We left it however as the 3.0v6 Duratec will be heavier and with reduce the rate

Sorry for epistle

Pete

I'd be very interested to hear about the v6 Duratec conversion....What's the plan regarding suspension and engine frame?

Sounds exciting.

Engine 'placed into position' fits with clearance
Will need to slightly alter bulkhead aka GTM v6 but not as much 60degree v6 versus 90 degree v6
Clears standard suspension
Will upload pics soon
