Hi,

I'm a new member here having just bought a part built Mk2 Rossa. It is going fairly well so far but, I have one or two questions that I'm hoping someone here might be able to answer?

Firstly, the car is on a set of "Q" plates and is correctly registered as a GTM Rossa on the V5. Does this mean that I don't need to put it through an IVA? I might mention that although I can see the car on the DVLA website it shows no record of it ever having been MOT'd in the past. I'm assuming that the fact that it has "Q" plates means that it was registered before the IVA rules came into effect & that I will just need to get it MOT'd in the usual way when the time comes?

Secondly, I don't like the tail lights that the previous owner fitted, I can find a few alternatives that I prefer but, I wondered if GTM specified any light units in particular?

I'm sure I will have more questions as I go along but, for the moment, any comments or advice would be gratefully received!

Pete as you say if it is Q registered you will just need an MOT

Hi Pete, The Rossa mk2 was designed to use the Peugeot 205 (1983-1990) rear light units. I am not aware of any others that fit.
