I have a VVC engine and PG1 gearbox waiting to to go into my Spyder to replace the current 1.6 and R65. I've pretty much given up on sourcing the right mount to use the PG1 so rather than fabricate (bodge) something I'm now thinking through the option of keeping the R65. I have the appropriate flywheel (1.6 mems 1.9) to work with the R65 and Mems 2.0 ecu for the VVC. I also have an MGF gear selector and cables that I was planning to use with the PG1.

Has anyone done a cable change conversion for the R65 using the MGF selector/cables? If so any advice and pictures (mainly at the gearbox end) would be great to help me decide if this is the way to go.

Sure you could easily make the bracket to mount the pg1 box there is not a lot to it.
