as mentioned else where, my new cox has an odd chassis number, the paper work suggests it was first registered in 1970 - much more reserch is needed in this area
however, im trying to date when the kit was bought by the original owner, so it there a 'time line' of when things altered on the early cars.
mine has things like the triangle vent on the bonnet, the square air vent on the right hand rear wing, one piece rear hatch and tubular door hinges (the doors are in fact a far nicer design and finish than the ones on my gtm.
ive got loads of photos of various details on tubs, but cannot decide what defines a cox, or a heerey tub - any ideas
heres a picture of it - its a work in progress - my gtm was in such nice condition, it would have been too lucky to find a cox in as good nick!

the tub, although rotten hasnt been patched and patched, so working on it shouldnt be too bad - ive got a mini to sort fist before i can start welding it though.
this one is a long term project
