But a front wheel with a the right amount of pressure will do too. .
I hope I can give it a try tomorrow.

This morning I tried the eezibleed kit, and guess what, it worked!!
I started with bleeding the new leftfront caliper, Some air immediately came out. After that I bleeded the other three brakes, but they were all airfree.
I will have a testdrive once the salt on the road has gone, I like to keep the british steel from rusting away fast.

Cheers
Harold

Your car is probably not the only place the sand went, but I doubt we want to know that....

Because I don't think that my flat-spotted tires will get round again, I want to replace them.
On my wheels I cannot find a width or offset vallue.
If I measure it quickly the width is 5,5 or 6"
Now I have two differrent sizes, 165/60-13 and 165/65.
165/60 is almost extinct, so won't be buying these.
For the looks a bit wider would be nice, maybe 175/50.
But because of the less hight of that tires the arches will be filled a bit less well.
On the net I saw a gtm coupe with 185/60-13 tires, that looks nice in my opinion, but won't that size cause rubbing?

This one: http://www.westhouse.plus.com/gtm84.htm
Anybody from here?

What will be a trouble free size, I know the offset will be needed...
Is a different size front an rear an option or will this harm the handlng to much?
It, used for road, not track.

Cheers Harold

The 185/60-13 tyres on the rear of my GTM did indeed rub when the suspension went into full compression.

Thanks @minitici.
Did you use 185/60-13 tires on the rear only?
What about the front?

I just measured the offset.
From inside off the rim to mountingflange is 101mm
From outside off rim to mountingflange is 65mm
Difference is 36mm what makes the offset 18mm.

Total outside width of the rim 101+65=166mm
166 - a few mm aluminum makes the rim aproximately 150mm = 5,5 or 6" wide ?!

150mm is much closer to 6" than 5.5" so I'd say you have 6" rims

175/60/13 seem to be readily available just looked on a couple of websites and there is loads of choice. If you are using 165's on your rims now then 175 should be okay and would have an overall radius 6mm smaller than 185/60/13 so might just give you clearance. In fact would be about 2mm smaller than your 165/65

I will be going the 175-60 x 13 when its time to buy, right now its on 165 x 60 fitted to Toyota steel wheels raised off the ground so I can crawl underneath, after my Christmas operation I'm restricted to 'light duties' until the surgeries healed a little more, so have spent time bonding mouldings I made for the rear lights and an extended hump over the airbox

Santa sent me a hernia, so I had the most amazing colourful display in my wedding tackle area over the festive season and it felt like I had been kicked by a horse
