 Re: Early Cox on Ebay
S's used remote change box's originally. I do'nt know how your linkage worked, but i think your car was made before rod change box's came out. There is'nt any reason why you can't use either set up.

 Re: Early Cox on Ebay
Thanks! So the original was definiatly a remote box. I will prefer this, as the seller told me that the car has the linkage, thus it can be original. Anyway I wouldlike to keep 60s originality as far as I can. Though I think I will not be able to get hold of a 1071 "S" engine for obvious reasons (one and another, and all the same ). But rather I have an early GT engine, and will use this in the car. With some periof tune of course ...

 Re: Early Cox on Ebay
I will examine the car better today and make a couple of pics for my site if intrested. What i know today, that it had a spec built 1071 "S" engine once (looks it was scraped unfortunatly ) "S" brakes, gauges, Corbeau buckets (restorable state). The interiour is mainly complete, though quite well gone. the feeberglass is in poor shape. I was just wondering how many of theese COX-es were ever built, and how many can be in existance. I think it would be great to make a register. If it is not existing today.
