The subframe in the back of my car has been modified to accommodate a D16 Honda twin cam 1600cc engine.
That means that there is a vertical piece of 6mm steel fitted across the back of the subframe - I guess that this may have been part of the GTM kit. But this piece of steel has been further modified and there is an overlap with another piece of 6mm steel welded to it.
So the Rossabitz supplied backets that bolt on to the subframe over the end of the pivot bolt where the inner end of the tie rod is attached needed 6mm machining off them to fit correctly - that's all.

With a standard subframe the Rossabits kit just bolts straight on -- you may have to source some rose joints but Alan will tell you where to get them. The only other thing you have to do is to set the tracking -- I think the recommendation is 3 to 4mm toe-in but don't forget that you need to have this set relative to be centre line of the car otherwise it will crab, so a visit to garage with a laser set-up system may be necessary.

Many thanks for the rear locking kit, we did a full set up on the rear end of the Coupe with the kit installed. Iain Daniels who has worked on both my car and David L's was very complimentary of it, he confirmed that it eliminates all toe change through the range of droop to full compression.

It's not an easy retro-fit though as the swivel hub has to be drilled and tapped to take an additional bracket.


Can anyone tell me what bushes are used in this set up please. I have mini lower control arm bushes where it meets the subframe but cant find anything that fits nicely where the bolts go through by the hub. The instructions just say blmc bushes but that is a bit vague. Tried control arm bushes in there too and while they could be made to fit it doesnt seem an ideal set up.

The A arm set up uses metalastic bushes, i.e metal outer and inner with a rubber core. GTM driver made his own out of PU bar. I did have some A arm and bushes year ago the bushes did look very simular to triumph front suspension Vitesse/GT6 bushes possilbly worth a look.
