Certainly seems like a project. Good find.

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
Hi Alex
Have been trying to get hold of "Arnie" since before Christmas but he never answers his phone or returns calls! I'll have another go I guess.......

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
Just tried him again - still not answering his phone Anybody live in Sheffield that would be willing to have a quick look for me to see if it still exists? David

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
I'm confuzzled now. Have you been struggling talking with Arnie or the Bristol one?
Bristol one was listed 8th Feb '09
If you google Arnie's phone number it finds an ebay auction where he lists another mobile number if it helps?
07906668116
This is beginning to feel like my search 2 years ago - nothing suitable came along for 6 months, then I ended up owning 2 Coupes within 4 days.

Hi Pantera Just tried that number and spoke to a young lady - she said she would pass the message on.................... The Bristol ad is quite old - I'll give it a go, nothing ventured nothing gained! David

Most of the bits are cheap, as they are from the mini and I'm sure we have all got enough spares hidden away that it would be possible. You can't be a million miles from me either, I just noticed you are North Leicestershire. I'm just North of Leicester, just off the A46. You can always pop in and see what a rebuild entails. Most of the structure is either f/glass, mini subframes or flat, so should be easy enough to get a good starting point. As long as you can weld, or know someone who can.

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
Huh? Not rare? In the whole of the UK it's the only one THE OWNERS CLUB can find for sale and it's not rare? If i'd got the space i'd bite his hand off. If I were you and you want a rare one i'd buy this one and Michiel's Heerey

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
Was just going to say, if Mr Mac declines then I'll have it for the spares if nothing else...

 Re: My Coupe on E-bay
Pete,
I'd go halves with you and just take the chassis. But I must resist...........

The chassis is probably the part I'd least want to keep... unless by some miracle it's galvanised and in good nick, or maybe a trick stainless one.. yeah right.. Anyone got a car transporter trailer to hand in the Staffs area at a reasonable rate?
