I am looking to upgrade my mgf pg1 gearbox to LSD,is it possible to fit the LSD out of another PG1 bos into my current gearbox if so how much work is involved.

Yes

Torsen diffs from BRM etc fit. Ebay often have them, Torsen B are the ones to go for and go for £75 plus new.

Quaife also do them for £500.

Have got hold of a PG1 with LSD now so just got to get it fitted now hopefully make some difference over the non LSD unit.

Easy enough to swop. About 4 hours should see it done.

It made a massive difference to my car, much more fun, especilly on track.

The libra certainly is better with the LSD especially if you get yoko a048 225x45x17 on for a mildly tuned vvc 0-60 is about 4.8 well if you drive silly like me :D

I have 195/45/16 toyo t1r's fronts and 215/40/16 falken fk452 on the rear.With 143bhp vvc with enclosed induction and 52mm throttle body.Hopefully get bo fitted before stoneliegh but the car is my main car so may have to wait until my summer car is back on the road. :P

get some 225 on the back A048 LTS compound ok life expenctancy is 3000 miles or 1 trackday but i cant break traction under cornering

expensive but well worth it and makes the libra safer and more fun but only on dry days wet days are for looneys :D

Only just put the rear tyres on so do not think I will be changing anytime soon.
