 Re: gtm who is it
Isn't that the one that is in Ireland?
I think there are more pictures of it on the mini forum site, if it is the one that I am thinking of.

 Re: gtm who is it
Yep its dean's gave him some help with it over the phone, as was having cooling and ecu issues, and was struggling to finish rallies. Also it is back with a 1600 engine currently as he has damaged a couple of engines now. The one Tim R is thining about is the R1 motor bike one WEST

 Re: gtm who is it
I'm not sure that I'd fancy having a road car with that may holes in the subframe.

 Re: gtm who is it
I've seen Dean drive (if it's the same Dean that used to hillclimb a Mini Marcos) and if he can't bust it then it's perfectly safe.

 Re: gtm who is it
Dean's car isn't the one with all the holes in it.
I also think that a few hard miles is very different from using it on the road for everyday use.
How much weight would you save, for very little advantage.

 Re: gtm who is it
The wishbones are the alternative way that the Coupe's rear suspension was done. It had it's pros and cons. I'm sticking with the mini steering arms and locking them off. All the parts are easier to get hold of. I'm sure you'd be able to knock up something like that on yours though.

 Re: gtm who is it
The rear lower wishbones shown on that car are very different to the standard ones made by GTM though.
