I'm thinking of making a new dashboard for my coupe, but I would rather have a spare dash to play with in case it all becomes a horrible failure…

Does anyone have a spare one knocking about? I don't mind if it's in poor condition with cracks etc. as I will be remaking most of it.

I made my own one, use a bit of 25x10mm timber for the frame and 5mm ply for the facing, you can then glass it if you want or cover it like I did.

Thanks, fiberglass and foam is the plan, with that vinyl spray paint you can buy.

but I was hoping to have one that I knew fitted to work from, to minimise the time i have to have the interior of my car in bits.

Not too far. Don't know how well you know the roads here but I'm close to the A6 slip road that spurs off the A50.

Yeh I know where you are - used to work in Derby. I'm half way between Birmingham and Derby so if you fancy a nose at my Coupe then I'm happy to act as the 'fence' for Joelly - I don't mind popping up either, always interested in seeing another Coupe....

Could do with a chat with you in any case as I was thinking of entering the Coupe in a 6 hour endurance event at Mallory in May but each team needs two cars representing the manufacturer, given you're local and the cars have to be road legal and driven to the event thought you might be interested..........

I'll start another post in any case but the offer is there for the coupe dash if it's of help.

Coupe languishing the garage (where I'm sad to say it has sat since 2002). Needs recommissioing before it will get on the road again. Just need a 10 day week to find the time...
