Rossa question
Hi I am thinking about buying a Rossa to do an engine swop, and would like to ask a few questions.
1,Will an allspeed frame fit easily to take a Honda engine?
2,Do they handle well?
3,Can they be made to look a little more sporty.I think the coupe is a better looking car,but they are rarer and as I am tall, the one I sat in had little head room
Regards
Darcy

Re: Rossa question
I guess the answeres are ; - no, possibly, and it's all a matter of taste.
Rossa rear bulkhead is very structural, including the GRP buttresses that come out to take the mounting bolts on the rear of the subframe (suspention towers as twere) - and it's pretty tightly tailored to the A series enginge and box.
Major work - which has been discussed before - remove rear bulkhead, replace with spaceframe section tied in to a full roll cage and it is possible - but not easy or cheap. I was considering it but have had a change of plans.
They can handle really quite well, when set up properly, this may include replacing the rubber cones with special springs and work on the pieces that 'lock' the steering, eliminating bump steer.
Seem to remember a number of relevant threads.
Hope you're not too dissapointed.
