Post Coupe Door fit
Now that I have the mechanical stuff sorted I am starting on the body and interior.. first I want to tackle the door fit, or lack of fit.. there is a pretty big gap where the rear of the window frame meets the B pillar. See the pics below.. there is almost a two finger gap, but the door seems to be pretty well aligned in the opening.. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Even with small adjustements to the doors it seems there will be a large gap.. do I have to cut out and redo the fiberglass on the b-pillar? Thanks Mike

As much as I hate to say it..

Looks about normal, was looking at mine the other day. On coupes Door fit in general seems to be poor, some have made a better job than others. you usually find by adjusting one bit to get that right it ruins another, then you struggle to get it to seal, then you sort this out then it looks poor again.

I want to improve mine at some point.

Neil

That's too bad, as I am not sure the doors will ever seal out rain with the way they are.. Maybe building up the B-piller to make it closer to the door would work..That part of the body seems curved slightly, whereas the window frame is straight, so it makes the problem worse.. anyone else have any better solutions?
