Post Interior ideas
Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased a gtm rossa and the interior needs a bit of TLC.
I'm thinking of changing the dash, but not having seen many of them I don't really know what would look good in it.

So without rambling too much does anyone have any pics of their cars interiors so i can get an idea of what I could do?

Thanks for any responses :D

Hi,
firstly thanks for the reply.
When you talk about the bmw are you talking about using the whole interior including the dash?

I was thinking of making the dash myself as production ones tend to be quite hard to work with
what with them generally being in one piece (like the metro one it has now)

I think that the Libra design is pretty smart -- very simple, all dials in front of the driver, even a glove box/cubby hole -- the only downsides for me are that the heater controls are not integrated and there's no space for a head unit. I'd probably re-design with the air vents outboard in the top panel and use the centre section for heater/ICE. Plenty of pics throughout the site.

hi, i am at the same stage myself and have spent all week looking on ebay and going round scrap yards. what i have decided to try is to use the gtm dash that came with the car and get various cheap/free dashboards and dash parts, cut buts out and try the shapes, holes pockets, pods ect on it and when happy i will bond them in place and mould it all together then smooth it and either airbrush it or have it covered. would be a total one off and would be a perfect fit without all the weight of most modern dashboards.
