I'm still yet to see a bike engine converted car do a sub 11 second run. We have gone a little off topic Stuart I have turned down the nitrous these days and have run almost as fast as my PB! 180[engine]+110[nitrous] and 720Kgs [without driver] this gives 402 per tonne this is the first time I have calculated it Neil Neil, When you say mine is sitting around 250,bhp, Is that the 180,bhp (engine) + 110,bhp (nitrous) = 290,bhp (OR) 250,bhp

Re: Flickr group for the Coupe.
I was at a jap tunning company today, we were talking jap engines and GTM's drag 1/4 times, we had a look at this thread and the GTM 1/4 mile records thread, but they thought that your figures were abit err... Odd Any idea what they mean, i'm confused

Re: Flickr group for the Coupe.
Can they not do maths!
We have all the proof, rolling road plot drag times etc, the only thing I do not have is proof that the nitrous shot is what i say it is but mathematically it works out to be around that figure. I wonder what they thought to be wonky.
Neil

Re: Flickr group for the Coupe.
car weighs 720 without driver whats wonky with that its proven. 290hp /0.72ton = 402hp/ton that is without driver obviously Neil

Re: Flickr group for the Coupe.
I'm not disputing the facts, I've seen it with my own eyes.
I'm not knocking your achivements in any way whatsoever, I can't match them.
It was discussed whilst debating power figures and 1/4 times and what they had achived with their drag project. We got talking about GTM's and eventually a red Honda powered coupe came into the chat, I gave them the figures, weight and times.
They then discussed your car between themselves for a while and thought that the power to weight and the 1/4 time was very very good, to the point that there was a disagreement between them as to weather the power figures, and or weight were correct.
They thought that to achieve what you have, that the power figures were a bit low or the weight was to heavy.
