 Re: steering wheel
Yes same as a classic Mini, unless someone tells me other wise, even my K3 appears to have a Mini setup.

If your car has the column intended for it then it's from an Allegro and will take any Mini steering wheel. The stalks are also the same as Mini ones and are available new from Minispares if you should ever need them.

 Re: steering wheel
I know that this is a very old discussion thread, but I have a related question.
Is the ignition switch on the Allegro steering column the same as a Mini column-mounted ignition switch? They look similar from 'photos on the internet, but I don't know if they are interchangeable.
I have recently started work on a Rossa II which has been off the road for a good many years. The ignition switch is faulty and, despite a fair bit of contact cleaner, refuses to work. I'm looking for a replacement and cannot find one anywhere. I'm beginning to think that, if you every see Lord Lucan riding down the street on Shergar, then he's probably got an Allegro ignition switch with him!!
Regards, Peter

 Re: steering wheel
Given up on the column mounted ignition switch and bought a dash mounted one.
