I am trying to sort out the size of the gas tank as the gauge does not seem to be very accurate. I am heading off on a 600 mile round trip and want to make sure I don't end up running out of gas in the middle of now where.. I have filed it up, and then when the gauge reads empty, I was only able to put in 16 liters.. which seems to little.. I thought the tank was around 25 or 30 liters? This is the front mounted tank between the sub frame on a 1989 Coupe

If your talking about the petrol tank that Gtm supplied with the kit (the square one) then if i remember correctly its 8.5 UK gallons or about 38 ltrs.

If its the original mini tank (much more rounded) that could have been fitted if the Gtm one wasn't bought as an optional extra, then they were 5.5 UK gallons or about 25 ltrs

BTW you need to put petrol in them, rather than 'gas'..........
