 GTM Coupe loading
The Grande Brasile has just arrived at Tilbury from Hamburg and my crated GTM kit should be loaded ready to sail to Lagos with an ETA at Tin Can Island port on 13th November. Plenty of jobs for the Christmas holiday. John

 Re: GTM Coupe loading
Sad day, just had a "notice of evaluation" which even allowing for Christmas inflation is far more than expected and have told the clearing agent to dump the only GTM to ever arrive in Nigeria (if not all of Africa) back into the sea as I'm ready to cut my losses rather than pay through every orifice in my body I just hope I can call their bluff John

 Re: GTM Coupe loading
I looks as if my hopes of being a GTM owner again have gone down the pan completely and another one is lost to the world in a Lagos dumping ground, I can’t in my wildest dream imagine any local mechanic would want to attempt to build it, even if he knew what was supposed to be fitted in the empty places. But - - if another body/chassis came along I could be tempted, but would have to find yet another shipping agent as we have parted in a most acrimonious way!! Anybody want to sell a GTM kit please let me know, I’ll be back to the UK when the weather is warmer mid April/May next year to race my Jedi for 3 weeks. Cheers John

 Re: GTM Coupe loading
sorry to hear this, can you not sit at the dumping site and wait for it to be dumped and collect

 Re: GTM Coupe loading
Oh and I forgot to mention sitting under a blazing hot sun at the dump, eaten alive by flies and mosquitoes, without a cold beer to hand No place for a white man Oh
