Re: Heated Windscreens
If I can find a buyer for mine I'll have one. Anyone know of someone in need of a new screen? Still wrapped up.

Paul. Certainly, that's fine, we can order as many as we like. It's just the minimum was 10

Re: Heated Windscreens - updated 15.5.08
Could had done with a heated screen this morning, WAs humid and started to rain, one minute the screen was clear the next misted, it was like a switch, had to stop on the side it misted so quick the heater was barely warm so couldnt catch it fast enough with that, had to find my anti fog. WEST

Re: Heated Windscreens - updated 15.5.08
12 screens - thats a pretty good response!! Does this mean theres going to be a sudden surplus of screens which all find themselves on ebay at the same time??! I know ill have two spare - one with a big crack and the other intact - atleast last i time checked it was... Only put a heater in mine for the demist so you think i can run without with one of these screens? I cant imagine it being cold in there...

I think we'll pick up a few more orders as well. dave111 wrote: Does this mean theres going to be a sudden surplus of screens which all find themselves on ebay at the same time??! Hi Dino I forgot to remind you that later Coupes have a Cox GTM Mk2 screen. I'm not sure what the difference is but if you use an early one as a pattern you may have problems.

Re: Heated Windscreens - updated 15.5.08
I've got a quick question on this one. Dino, did they say how much current the screen pulls? I was talking to someone who used to work for Ford, who said that their screens were about 40amps when they were flat out. It's something to take into account when installing them. They used to increase the revs of the engine (at tickover) when the screen was on.

Thanks Alan, as far as I can gather all the production cars seem to use the 'Cox GTM mk2' screen - I can't find any evidence of a "mk1" screen on a production car anywhere!
