Door hinge.
Has anyone been able to free a Rossa door hinge that is seized? One of my drivers door hinges is seized and I have had it soaking in wd40 over night with no luck and dismantling oil for a few hour, I have had it in a vice and can only move it back and forth a little bit. I havent tried heat yet because I have run out of gas in my blow lamp. There is no hinge pin to remove because it is welded at the top and bottom.

Re: Door hinge.
Although WD40 has many uses, its not the best product for freeing siezed bolts & brackets. Plus gas is a much better product for this type of problem. I've also heard that a 50/50 mix of automatic transmission fluid & acetone works really well. Probably a combination of a good soak & then some heat is your best option.

Re: Door hinge.
I had the opposite problem in that mine were loose with a lot of play even though they had never been used. I got new ones from Alan at Rossabitz.

Re: Door hinge.
I will try the 50/50 mix today and try to heat the outside up, if all fails I will send Alan a message to see if he still has any hinges, infact you have just reminded me I need to ask Alan about some other items I could do with.
