Post New Dutch owner
Good day to you all.

Since last wednesday I am owner of een GTM Coupe 1993.
I bought it from Ruud "goldeneye"
Hopefully I will find information here about how to maintain and improve the green GTM.
First things to tackle are replacement of the doorhinges, improve the gearchange (first gear is difficult to engage) and give it (or let een car-polish-company give it) a good polish tot get the minor scratches and dull spots out. It also has some cracks on the front en de boot lid, but that's for later.

Greets from Holland
Harold

Thanks guys!
Indeed, it is Jeroen's old car.

It needs a good polish, it has minor scratches and the roof feels a bit rough and is dull.
I'm going to buy a polishing machine.
Any ideas what kind of polishing compound(s) I should use?
I want to make it smooth and shiny again.
I have never polished a car with a machine before, anybody with some tips and tricks?
Should I avoid window-rubbers? Tape them off?

Has anybody got experience with Farécla Compounds?
First Pofile 300 rapid cut, then Profile 500 Light cut, then Profile Gelcoat restorer&wax?
Or is this too much?

Greets Harold
