Hey all

Okay I know it might sound daft but would it be possible to run a sump guard on the Coupe?

Obviously I know modifications would be needed to allow the gear selector mechanism to pass through but would there be any other issues?

I regularly go over some very bad speed bumps and drive some bad road areas (My Smart roadster regularly scrapes along the speed bumps etc )

So just thought I'd ask

Hi Runk,
I made a bash plate for mine, we have bad roads if you need more I could probably arrange export but as my selector shaft passes through the box and out of the front I only need a small clearance underneath:wink: for you probably better to make a skid plate over the gear linkage where it passes under the box, you will hear it but if you can slide over the bump no damage done, I used to graunch my old Cox and also the Caterham I had
