I am really loathe to do this as it took me so long to find a good Coupe to buy but...

I am looking at selling my GTM coupe first registered in 1990 I am the second owner after the original builder.

MED built 1293cc Unit
Gearbox
2x Cylinder heads (the original broke a valve so a replacement was fitted)
It comes with K&N Minator Wheels
Hi-los fitted
Corbeau bucket seats from original order of kit
a full set of Pro-tech shock which I bought brand new
maniflo manifold (needs modding for the GTM)
Stainless steel backbox
generally Lots of large and small new componets (that I bought from mini spares)

Instead of writing reems of information on here I thought it best if any interested buyers contacted me

The car is in great condition and has been garaged since it was last on the road both by the previous owner and myself. I genuinely don't think it will take much to get it back on the road it's just a little bit beyond my skills (the electrics anyway) and no power in my garage makes it a bit of a chore.

I am asking £1500 and am firm on the price as I have spent closer to £2500 on it and the bits and would like to put the money and the garage space towards a new business venture (never thought I'd say that )

When I get chance I'll get outside and take some pictures of what's what.

I would love those wheels (tempting me to keep the car!) although actually I guess if there is no interest in the car I should get them from you just incase!

If you were tempted to keep the car I'll give you the wheels If all goes to plan and Turkish Airways are booked I'll be back Monday afternoon 18th April, 5 of my 6 entries are already booked, so I'm all reved up and ready to race with my new Kwaka ZX10R engine and chassis mods, my biggest upgrade since 2000.

That thing is going to be ballistic!

It's so tempting to try and finish it because I know that the car isn't really that far from being on the road but my skills alone just aren't enough to get it done sadly. I'd love it to go to someone on the forum that way it's got a fighting chance of being finished and seen again on the roads

It's a shame your selling up Rob, if only this came up for sale a couple years ago before i found mine! Good luck with the sale

If you are selling up because you find the electrics daunting perhaps some of us on here can talk you though your problems one at a time as they come up

I'm happy to answer any queries, have just finished re designing/re-making the loom on my car, and have also remade the Honda ecu loom on the engine.

Pity so are so far away, as I could have dropped in to help.

Rob if you don't have a loom, you don't have to make it yourself, Derek Hambly has in stock which he bought from Steve Shield. get yourself a Haynes Mini manual, its all there mate and as Ken said sorry we are so far away, but I'm sure we can talk you through any problems as they come up.

Thanks to all for the kind offers of help it made me quite emotional

Anyway the car has sold today to an existing GTM Coupe owner he certainley knows his stuff and hopefully wil get the car running again pretty quickly. Plans for a race car were mentioned but that's not for me to discuss

Thanks to all the interested parties and I hope you'll all find cars soon.

I will still be visiting the forum and see myself buying another GTM in future but it will have to be a running one this time!
