Post K3 Exhaust help
I have recently acquired a K3 with a 16v 1.4 rover engine. It's been stood under a tree for 2 years and I'm in the process of getting it back on the road. The exhaust, including down pipe and silencer, is shot. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement - or is it a custom job? Any help very much appreciated.

Hi, the original GTM silencer came from a Saab, not sure of model or how much it was modified

Cheers

Paul that's the later one, this could well be the ideal way to end up. (The original one the down pipe entered the side of the silencer not the end, from memory the older down pipe was the same 'til just after the flex joint where it went into the side of the silencer rather than round to the end.) Hope this makes a little sense.

As My K3 is long long gone I think I'll leave this for those with something they can take pictures of :? :P

Hi,
I have a stainless version of the exhaust in the pictures.
It came fitted to my K3.
I am removing the Metro bits and will not need this, so if you want it, I can send it your way for a small fee.
I live in Chippenham Wilts, so if you're interested (and passing) you can take a look.

Hi,
sorry I only scanned the emails and saw one picture which was possibly the Saab one with the manifold connecting to the mid point of the silencer and then exiting at the end.

If I remember I will take a couple of pictures tomorrow.
