September update..

I try to keep the smoke in the wires, also some artistic exercises for coolant hoses routing, but finally the engine is in! Gear cables are ok, also fine tuned for gear position. Movement is smooth and very tight.

I liked this car when the build was detailed on here the first time around and I like it even more now.
Bravo!
We are just in the process of copying the pedal arrangement on our build.

Post Re: LuxSpeed Coupe
Thanks all folks!

pedal box is from the previous owner (Andy), good setup but I had to slightly modify pedals (too big) and with some trials I do the 4th pedal I find really necessary. Not so difficult, just be sure about seat/driving position. My first drive attemp is to map a little the MS2, since I just start up the bare engine with a basic map, and I need some to travel to MOT station and get a decent emission (even the car is a 1986 register, so honestly no Euro 123456 problems). Funny enough (car got 300 mt  ) I drove around some country b roads, but at.. 50 kph when leaving throttle the car first steer to left the travel with all 4 wheels to left (very sweet, but about 1.5 meters!). I limit my efforts to have a trip in a ditch, so slowly go around for mapping and at least leave all the structure set a little after the rebuild (all this story at 10PM). A couple of days after I manage to correct some dimensions with plumb line and I find the left front caster is about 8mm shorter than rigth one ahha (and even some random angles for camber and toe). Now car got 30 kms and I will drive her mid week to get a proper MS map for high revs etc, so hope will tell you soon. Driving sensations at the moment are about the very very low polar momentum (Vauxhall engine CG is about 8 cm further and 2cm lower than mini one, more or less), flash steering and "dense" gear ratios. Last but not least, aerodynamics are so fine you can't believe speed vs throttle open :D
