Post hydragas spheres
I see I can buy parts to convert the spheres to individual units. Does anyone have experience of the effects of doing this?

hi yorkydowgate
my k3 had individual units on it when i bought it.
i do not known if this rides any better as i have not driven the car with the standard suspension
it seems to me to be ok in the way it drives
you could ask the mgf forum or something like that why they do it

The MGF spring rates will be too high for the K3 and most likely to result in very stiff suspension and a 4x4 style ride height due to the K3 being much lighter overall.

I am facing the same issue by fitting MGTF front and rear kit and know that I will need to downrate and have lower springs made to suit, but as yet do not know what they will be.

Mike Satur does a kit at over a grand that may be adjustable, but is a bit more than just replacing the spheres with spring boxes

I did it on my K3, I've always found the front-to-back hydraulic connection felt weird. Individualising the units gave me a wheel at each corner that wasn't influenced by what its partner at the other end was up to. Personally I found it an improvement.

I may be reading the original post wrong, but I think this is what the OP is talking about.
