Post Front/Rear Subframe
Having looked as close as I can at the crashed rear end I am fairly sure that the car can be rebuilt as there doesn't look to be any damage to the rear subframe mounting points (further investigation has halted as I have to get another kit on the road by Christmas  ). Having said that I would like to start sourcing parts for the rebuild as and when they are available so:

What year metro does the K3 take the front subframe from?

Would an MGF REAR subframe fit without any modifications to the mounting points or are they totally different. My thinking here is that there are a fair few MGF's been broken up and a complete rear subframe with hubs, disc's, calipers etc would also sort out the handbrake issue in one foul swoop. Plus I have got a set of MGF wheels I was going to fit anyway.

MGF - subframe.

I'm sure Dudley built a K3 with just that (was a powder blue - car, not subframe). As to the differences I'm realy not sure, I think he also used an MGF (or like) fuel tank instead of the daft 4 pint metro one.
